The first program, the LCS Above and Beyond Extended Learning Program, encourages students to utilize district-supported online programs such as i-Ready, Achieve 3000, or Accelerated Reader outside of the school day. The online portions of these programs allow students to receive supplemental instruction in reading at any time and from any place. The second is a FLDOE program, Florida's Step Up for Students, can provide eligible students with scholarships for part-time tutoring and after-school literacy programs or materials.
