It was great welcoming all of our students back from Thanksgiving break. While the time away from school is nice, I know we all missed seeing our Swift Creek students! We are looking forward to a great three weeks of school leading up to Winter Break, which begins on Wednesday, 12/20.

As a reminder, our first school dance is scheduled for Friday, December 8th, from 4:30-7:00. Tickets sales begin tomorrow, 11/28, with $5 tickets from 11/28-11/30. Ticket prices will increase to $10 from 12/4-12/6 and will be $15 at the door, so we encourage everyone to buy their tickets early! For the purpose of safety and supervision, only current Swift Creek students may attend.
We have a girls soccer interest meeting scheduled for tomorrow, 11/28, at 4:00 in the Media Center. Our school Science Fair is this Thursday, 11/30 and SGA will begin their Toys for Tots drive on Friday, 12/1. Next Tuesday, 12/5, all students will participate in state progress monitoring for English/Language Arts. State Math progress monitoring is scheduled for Tuesday, 12/12. Please see the attached letter for more information. Club photos are scheduled for Thursday, 12/7. Our early winter sports seasons are winding down and our fine arts showcases are picking up, so please review our school website calendar for all of our upcoming events.
