It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

Our teachers ROCK! Please take the time to show your student's teacher some appreciation! Handwritten notes, gifts, or special emails are all encouraged and welcomed for our teachers.


AP/End of Course (EOC) Exams are this week!

We have several exams this week. If your student is in any of the courses listed below, make sure they get a good night's sleep and arrive to school on time to ensure an optimal testing experience. This week, exams are:

  *   Monday, May 8 - AP Exams:  Calculus and Computer Science

  *   Tuesday, May 9 - Algebra I EOC

  *   Wednesday, May 10 - Geometry EOC

Important information regarding the Family Portal score release testing times:

  *   For both the FAST Grades 9-10 and Spring B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs, scores will be reported in the Family Portal (accessible through FOCUS) within 24 hours from the time the assessment was completed.


Thursday, May 11 - Last Day to Purchase Prom Tickets (Flyer Attached)

If your student has not already purchased prom tickets, the last day to do so is Thursday, May 11th. Tickets are $40.


Friday, May 12 - PROM

This year's prom theme is "Casino Night," and will be taking place at the Tallahassee Women's Club, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

IMPORTANT: Rising Seniors (Current Juniors) - Senior Portraits
We received your notices regarding SAIL not being an option on the dropdown menu; we have contacted the company and are awaiting changes. We will keep you posted regarding changes to the website.
Did you know that the best time to take senior portraits is the summer before your senior year? Summer photo sessions allow students to select a date/time that works best for them, as well as offer opportunities for students to coordinate additional senior photos. We are requesting ALL rising seniors (current juniors) complete the following data form so that we can send reminders via email and text for students to book their portrait session. Students who do not take their photos in the summer will have to wait for the last chance day at school, which can be stressful. Aim for success by booking a session for the summer! Final exams are scheduled for May 22-24th for all underclassmen. Senior exams are May 16-17th . The schedule of exams ia attached.


IMPORTANT: Dual Enrollment Meeting Requests

In the last week, we have received an influx of parent requests to schedule an appointment with our school counselor regarding dual enrollment. If your child is eligible for dual enrollment and you attended Compass Night, you received a folder with required documents for dual enrollment students to complete based on their plans (FAMU/TCC/Lively). In order to schedule an appointment with our school counselor, required documents must be submitted as instructed during Compass Night. These documents ensure your child is enrolled at the institution of choice (TCC/FAMU/Lively) and thus able to register for classes or request academic advising. To schedule an appointment, review the information below:


If your child plans to attend TCC (off-campus dual enrollment), to schedule an appointment, you need:

  *   TCC Student ID (in-hand)

If your child plans to attend FAMU (on-campus dual enrollment with Marlow), to schedule an appointment, you need:

  *   Completed FAMU Packet (provided during Compass Night)
  *   Completed Health Form w/Physician's Stamp

IMPORTANT: Chromebook Collection Begins May 15th (Flyer Attached)

We will begin collecting student Chromebooks the week of May 15th . Senior Chromebooks will be collected first (May 15th), while all remaining students will turn-in their Chromebooks May 16-19th.
