Good Evening Parents,

I recently received information that there was a lockdown at Godby High School while some of our students were at track practice this afternoon. In the spirit of transparency, I wanted to share this information with our school community. At that time, our track coaches work diligently in conjunction with Godby administrators to ensure our students were safe.

District Safety and Security, and Law Enforcement have seen been notified and have handled the situation. Thank you for your continued diligence in keeping our students and school community safe.
