I am so excited to announce The Horn, Raa's new weekly listeserv that "sounds off the latest news at Raa Middle School!" The Horn is dedicated to giving parents the "week at a glance," so that you stay updated on everything that's happening -- from football games to art shows -- so that you're prepared for whatever comes! Dr. Scott will still send reminders and important listservs throughout the week as needed, but The Horn will come to you each Monday at 8:00 am.

*If you plan on having your student attend a Raa athletic event, please be sure to pick them up on time after the game. Students who remain 30 minutes or more after the game has ended will not be allowed to attend sporting events without a parent or guardian present.
**LIFE Group is a FREE mentoring group for students, designed to help students who may need additional support as they navigate LIFE and transition into adulthood. They provide a support system and safe space for students to talk, as well as sponsored activities and events, LIFE coaching, and access to their Village of Care Network for mental and behavioral health resources. * Football Banquet - November 9th
Raa will be hosting a football banquet on Thursday, November 9th in the Raa Cafeteria. This event is designed to be casual and will acknowledge the 2023 Football Championship win against Swift Creek earlier this year. The cost of the banquet is $20.
* Share Night at Pizza Hut - November 14th (Flyer attached)
Raa's PTO will be hosting RMS Share Night at Pizza Hut (3521 N. Monroe Street) on Tuesday, November 14. PTO receives 20% of each transaction (Dine-In, Take-Out and Pick-Up), which will assist with funding student and teacher recognition activities. This fundraiser is a great opportunity to meet and connect with more members of our #RamFam! Be sure to mention you are supporting Raa Share Night and use the code U5 at checkout!

Raa's production of Legally Blonde Jr. (The Musical) will be April 18, 19, and 20! Be sure to save the date because it is sure to be an amazing show!

Legally Blonde Jr. (The Musical) - Musical Auditions - November 15th (Flyer attached)
Is your student interested in being a part of the show? Auditions are quickly approaching! Musical auditions will be held November 13-17, 4 pm - 6 pm in the Chorus Room. Need help preparing for your audition? Workshops will be held on November 7th and 8th. See the attached flyer for the QR code to sign up.
All productions need Stage Crew! If your student is interested, encourage him/her to pick up a form from Ms. Alyward-Smith in the Art Room.
* Boys Basketball/Girls Soccer Interest Meetings
Interest Meetings for Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer will be held in December. To ensure your child is prepared for the season, make sure that they have a current physical and activity form completed and submitted to our Athletic Director, Mr. Atkins.
