Good Afternoon Oak Ridge Parents,


I am writing to make you aware of a power outage that occurred today. This morning at around 10:30 a.m. a fuse blew on a transformer causing a power line to fall to the ground. This caused a power outage at our school which lasted approximately two hours.


Our power has been restored, all students were able to eat lunch today, and we have returned to a normal schedule.  All students should be in their classrooms on a regular schedule tomorrow.


Please allow me to thank all of our amazing teachers and staff for handling this situation beautifully and remaining calm for our students.
