The Leon County School System expects students to return the Chromebook and power cord at the end of each school year.

Students had the opportunity to bring the Chromebooks to the Media Center 5/22-24. Those Chromebooks have been scanned and an email was sent to each student.

If they returned the power cord with the Chromebook, then they were sent the following message:

This email acknowledges that the Chromebook assigned to you has been returned with the power cord. The Chromebook will be                       checked this summer for any damages. If damages are found then fees will be assessed accordingly.

Damaged/No Case - $18

Writing on the device - $25

Screen/Other Damage - $25 if the first offense.

If they did not return a power cord with the Chromebook, then they were sent the following message:

This email acknowledges that the Chromebook assigned to you has been returned without the power cord.

You will soon see an email indicating that an obligation of $35 has been created for the missing power cord.

The Chromebook will be checked this summer for any damages. If damages are found, then additional fees will be assessed accordingly.

Damaged/No Case - $18

Writing on the device - $25

Screen/Other Damage - $25 if the first offense.

Chromebooks can still be returned to the front desk at the school.

Power cords can also be returned, but it is very important to make sure the power cord has the student's name on it. That is the only way we can know which student's obligation needs to be deleted.
