Good Afternoon,

Today during school it was reported to administration a student brought a weapon to Griffin campus.  Administration, along with a Leon County Sheriff Deputy searched the suspected student and no weapon was found.

Griffin Middle School takes student safety and security very serious.  We believe in being transparent with our school stakeholders and want to reassure that it is our top priority.
