We have 2 weeks left in this 9 week grading period to excel in all areas
of learning. While most of our students are on target for promotion, a
few are not. We urge you to continue to work as a team with the school
to ensure that your child is maximizing their educational opportunities
each day. Our goal is success for every student, but we need your help
to make this a reality!! As always, please do not hesitate to call when
you have questions or concerns, main office 488-8436 or Guidance
488-4200.

Help Us Help Others --Griffin's Annual Food Drive

Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) is asking us to be a part of
their annual food drive by donating canned and/or boxed food items to
the school. Last year we were able to help feed over 27 families in the
Griffin community. If each adult and student at GMS will donate 3
items, we can do even more this year for our community. FFEA has
donated one box of Macaroni and Cheese to each homeroom; and, Ms. Lynn
has issued a challenge of a donut party for the homeroom who donates
more items than the office staff. Encourage your student to be a part
of the giving season!

Landscape Beautification Day at Griffin -Thank You Esposito Gardening
Center

Do you have a green thumb or just love to work in the garden? We are
looking for volunteers to help put some plants in the ground on December
13th, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Esposito Gardening Center, one of our
Business Partners, has graciously donated $500.00 in plants to Griffin
and we have high hopes of getting them all planted that morning. So
come on out (bring your favorite garden tool) and help us beautify our
campus!
