Reminder for 8th Grade Parents – Address Verification must be completed in order for your student to receive a 9th grade schedule.  Send two proofs (utility bill and lease agreement/mortgage) to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>



Reminder for 6th Grade Parents – Immunization records to reflect the Tdap Immunization must be submitted by August 1st in order for your student to receive a 7th grade schedule.  Please schedule an appointment with their pediatrician or visit the health department!



Q3 Report Cards and Honor Roll certificates have been published to FOCUS and Brick and Mortar students will be sent home with paper copies today.  Parents of DA students that wish to receive a paper copy can stop by the front office and one will be printed for you.  Please remember to wear your mask!

We also wanted to share some quick notes regarding middle school quality points required for promotion.



  1.  All students are required to have a minimum of four points in each of their classes in order to promote to the next grade level.

  2.  Quality points are earned from the letter grades assigned each quarter, for each class.

     *   Grade of “A” is worth 4 points, “B” is worth 3 points, “C” is worth 2 points, “D” is worth 1 point, and “F” is worth 0 points.

  3.  At least one quality points must be earned in the second semester.



Please review your child’s report card and make note of their progress.  If your child has received fewer than 4 points in any of their core classes, they are being sent home with a “Standards Recovery Contract”.  Please review, sign, and return this contract as soon as possible.  We want to ensure every Tiger gets exactly what they need 😊
