Greetings and Happy New Year First Responders!


Leon County Schools and Griffin Middle School would like to thank you, our first responders, for your dedication to protecting our school and community. While you put your lives and those of your families on the line every day, you are valuable role models for our students and we highly honor, appreciate and respect you!

In an effort to show you how much we appreciate you, we cordially invite our first responders to have a free lunch with our students on Thursday, February 5th.  Students with family members, or friends, who are first responders are personally invited to attend lunch at schools throughout the county. Griffin Middle School would like to take this time to honor and embrace our community's first responders.

You are welcome any time during our lunch time (11:30 - 12:40).  If you are planning on attending, please RSVP by Monday, February 2 to Joy Marshall at (850) 617-5353 or e-mail [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.  You may also complete the RSVP and submit to the school's front office.
Superintendent Jackie Pons, said, "We extend our profound appreciation for the courage and selflessness of all of our first responders".
