Good afternoon parents and guardians!

For those whose students are attending the field trip this Thursday:

I know we have all been looking at the weather and have seen the approaching storm. I have been tracking the weather, speaking with administration as well as the companies for this trip and we have decided to err on the side of caution and postpone the field trip.

Much of what we will be doing on this trip will be outdoors and the students' safety is our biggest priority. We also want to make sure this trip is enjoyable for all, the rain and wind would hinder that.

I know students will be disappointed in the postponement but it will not be postponed for long. We will be moving the trip from Thursday 11/10 to Wednesday 11/30. Nothing else from the trip will change.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but again we want to make sure this trip is enjoyable for the students and that they are safe as well. The Monday prior to the trip students will receive their field trip shirt, a itenerary and other information for parents and students about the trip.
