Good afternoon, Yellow Jackets!

It has been an interesting week leading into Spring Break. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we navigated through multiple days of severe weather. As a reminder, Spring Break is next week. There is no school Monday 3/14 through Friday 3/18. Our office will be closed during this time. Monday 3/21 is a teacher planning day and students return to school for the 4th nine weeks on Tuesday, 3/22.

Due to the weather this week, we rescheduled our field day for Friday, 3/25. Please make sure that students are dressed appropriately for this day. We appreciate all of the families that have volunteered to help during this event, we can't wait!

Our 6th AR Principal's Challenge begins on Monday, 3/21 and ends on Friday, 4/1. Spring Break is a great opportunity for students to read at home and get a head start on this next challenge!

Our state testing schedule begins soon after our return from Spring Break. Please see the attached letter with helpful hints and our testing calendar for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. In preparation, we will have our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students take practice assessments in the coming weeks.

We have been organizing another great school yearbook this year. Please see the attachment for more information on how to order this year's yearbook.

Registration for new kindergarten students for the 2022-23 school year begins on March 21st. Please see the attached flyer for instructions on registration and share this information with anyone interested. More information regarding kindergarten registration, orientation, and other important information will be available after Spring Break.

Have a great week!
