Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians,

We have made a lot of progress with our drop-off and pick-up times since the start of school.  Currently there is no wait in the drop off line after 7:55am, with only a short wait prior to 7:55.  In the afternoon we have all cars loaded and gone by 3:20pm.  This is amazing considering we are still loading 300 cars a day.  Below I have outlined a few reminders to help our before and after school lines move even faster.  If you do not want to sit and wait for a long period of time, consider arriving in the car line after 7:50am in the morning or after 3:05pm in the afternoon for very short or no lines.

I would also ask that parents be mindful of the road rules when arriving at the car loop. No cars should ever make a left hand turn from Orange Avenue into the car lane. If the car line is past the first u-turn lane on Orange Avenue, you will need to drive further towards the end of Orange Avenue to turn around. Cars should not cut into the car lane at u-turn locations.

Morning Drop-off

*         Drop-off begins at 7:45. Please do not leave your children until there are adults outside to supervise them

*         Please have your child gather their belongings and prepare to exit the vehicle by the time you make it to the railing

*         Once you are along the railing please pull as far forward as you can so that we can unload as many cars as possible at a time

*         If you are along the railing and pulled all the way forward to the next vehicle, your child may exit the vehicle without assistance

*         If your child needs assistance please pull forward to one of the employees once the cars move forward

*         Students must be dropped off by 8:25 in order to make it to class on time. If you arrive after 8:25 the side gate will be locked and you will need to go to the front office to sign your child into school.

Afternoon Pick-Up

*         Pickup begins at 2:50 or a few minutes before

*         Students are assigned a color pickup station based on the order your arrive in the car lane

*         Please pull all the way forward to the next station until your see your child waiting for you

*         If you need to fasten a child seat or situate your children in your vehicle, please pull all the way down to the end of the lane and over to the side to allow the process to continue

*         Students will continue to be called to car pickup until 3:15. As long as you are in line by 3:15 you are on time and your child will be called out to your car.

*         Once all of the cars that are in line by 3:15 are called, students who have not been picked up are brought to the front office for late pickup.
