Dear Cobb Families,

For the second grading period, beginning in November, parents have the opportunity to change their current educational delivery method. You may choose to have your student attend Brick and Mortar (in-person schooling) or Digital Academy (online learning). In order to prepare and plan, we are asking you to complete the following survey between Tuesday, September 29 and Friday, October 9. You only need to complete the survey if you are changing how your student will be attending Cobb. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZMDTVK3

For my families who are at home, I understand there have been difficult days; however, we have passed most of these hurdles, and we are getting better every day. The students have found their groove, and many are doing very well. You may want to give yourself some time as a family to talk this through and make your choice. Can you commit to this for two more months? If so, I would encourage you to do so. If, however, you cannot, we welcome you back to Cobb with open arms...but six feet away and waving.

If we have a large number of students switch from one method to another, schedules may be adjusted. We are committed to keeping students socially distant at Cobb to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff. That may mean that we cannot guarantee a certain period, level of instruction, or teacher to remain the same for students. In addition, we will be looking at all options for schooling - including facilitating on-line learning on campus if necessary. We have made no decisions yet; however, everything is on the table.

As I told parents during our Open House, I cannot give you a good answer about what school will look like until we gather the data of what you would like to have happen.

If you have specific concerns or questions, please let me know. I will be glad to answer them.
