Rising 6th grade parents-

Thanks to all who were able to make it to the Magnet Orientation!  At this point all Course Request Forms (CRF) have been distributed either to parents personally or to the current elementary schools.  If you have not received yours, expect to see it early next week.  Please help your child to choose their elective classes by selecting four favorites in rank order of 1,2,3,4 with 1 being your strongest preference.  On the back of the paper, you will see, "Current Elementary School Use Only", this portion will be completed by your current elementary team.  You may expect to receive a draft copy of the course selections in mid-June.

Current 6th, 7th, and 8th grade parents-

By now we should have received all of your CRFs back.  Please check with your child to see that it has been completed and returned.

May 16th - Honor Roll Field Trip

May 16th - 8th grade Beta Lock-In
      The Beta sponsored lock in will be held in the gym from 7pm to 7am.  Beta has planned an amazing night for everyone, each hour we will celebrate a different birthday month with food and fun.  Contact Mrs. Tracey Haley with any questions. [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

May 23rd - 8th Grade Dance
      The dance will be held at Capital City Country Club.  The theme this year is, "Walking the Red Carpet...A Hollywood Affair."  Contact Mrs. Osborne with any questions.

May 29th - 8th Grade Awards Ceremony
          The event will be held at Leon High School from 5:30-7:00.  Contact Mrs. Osborne with any questions.
