Chaires Community

We are excited about celebrating Literacy Week.  We have several guest readers coming out to help support our students.  We are honored to have Superintendent Hanna and School Board Member Rosanne Wood volunteering to read to our Kindergarteners and 3rd Graders.  On Friday, we are celebrating with a Space/Star Wars theme and free books.  Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite space character.  Listed below are the activities for the week.

                January 24-28, 2022

                School: Chaires Elementary

Mission Goals: Foster a love for reading!
                           Gain 50 additional reading minutes
                                        for the week! Each class is challenged
                                        with adding an additional 10 – 20
                                        minutes of reading time each day and
                                        reporting it to Mission Control. Minutes
                                        will be displayed on a rocket chart.
Mission Patch Reveal: Students have designed their own Mission
                                                                                                   Patch during special area to be on display
                                                                                                   in the cafeteria.
