Greetings Panther Family,
Beginning May 8 we will take the FAST assessment for our final Progress Monitoring session of the school year. Astoria Park Panthers will take the FAST the week of May 8-12. Attached you will find detailed letters about the assessment and ways that you can help your student prepare. Please note there are two letters one is for students in grades Kindergarten, First or Second (K-2), the other letter is for students in grades Third, Fourth, or Fifth (3-5).

5th grade Families,
Our 5th grade students will complete the Human Growth and Development course between May 15 and May 24, 2023. In alignment with Florida Statue Chapter 1014 and Leon County School Board Policy 5780.01, parents have the opportunity to view the curriculum and choose whether or not you want your child to participate. If you do not wish for your student to participate, simply complete the attached form (hardcopies went home with students today) and send back as soon as possible. There is a link in the body of the letter where you can view the curriculum.

As always thank you for partnering with us to provide the best educational experiences for our scholars.

Have an amazing weekend!
