Leon County Summer Training Program

It’s that time again for the Leon County Summer Training Program! This program is designed to provide valuable employment skills to students between the ages 14 to 24 who reside in Leon County while earning an income. This year Leon County Government has partnered with CareerSource Capital Region to offer participants more professional development opportunities through the Learn, Earn and Advance Program (LEAP). This program will help youth learn important skills such as goal setting, budgeting, time management, customer service and so much more.  The program will run from June 10, 2024, through July 12, 2024. Students will have the opportunity to work 20 hours a week and earn $12.00/hour.

Students should apply online at www.leoncountyfl.gov/summeryouth.  Applications must be submitted online no later than Friday April 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

We encourage students who do not have access to the internet to use the school computer lab or any of the computers at any of Leon County Public Library locations.
