CNA registration for Current Sophomores!
Reminder
to students who have their CNA applications, please get them completed over Spring Break.
10th graders interested in CNA, it isn’t too late!

Lively Technical College offers dual enrollment on our campus for their Certified Nursing Program (CNA). This is a 2 yr. program beginning in the 11th grade. The CNA program provides coursework
in Basic Healthcare Worker (11th grade) and Nurse Aide and Orderly as well as Phlebotomy (12th grade). Students who complete both years will sit for the certification test and have the potential to graduate as a certified CNA. Our SAIL students have a 100%
pass rate on the CNA certification test each year. Certified students leave SAIL with the ability to secure work as a CNA right out of high school!
The requirement for the program are as followed:
There is an interest sign-up sheet in the front office. Mrs. John will meet with each student individually. Students may also reach out to Mrs. John for additional questions.

Leon Works Junior Apprenticeships - Applications Due March 31
In partnership with Leon County Schools and CareerSource Capital Region, the
Leon
Works Junior Apprenticeship Program provides Leon County high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to
earn hourly wages while building valuable workforce skills. The new policy, which went into effect on January 1, 2023, now provides high school students who attend charter, private and virtual school,
along with public school, the opportunity to learn skilled trades while getting paid.

2024 Leon Works Expo!
ALL
Juniors

a limited amount of
Seniors will attend the 2024 Leon Works
on April 12, 2024, this year. Save the date. Permissions slips will be dispersed on March 19th and are due back to Mrs. John on March 29th. Transportation and lunch will be provided.
We have reserved 80 seats. 1st preference to Juniors!

Chain of Parks Art Festival

April 20th – 21st
LeMoyne’s Chain of Parks Art Festival is an outdoor fine arts festival which brings some of the
top artist from all over the nation to Tallahassee. Along with seeing amazing art,
people will be exposed to a wide variety of live entertainment on the main stage, local food trucks, vendors, professional chalk artists, folk art and much, much more. This two-day art festival

Tutoring Services
If you are interested in your child receiving additional academic support, tutoring is available on Mondays and Thursdays after school in the media center until 3:30
pm. Students can get help in all core classes (and some electives), work on group assignments,
study independently, and utilize school technology.
