We are thrilled to extend a dramatic invitation to experience the wit, humor, and timeless relevance of our spring theatre production: "Tartuffe," directed with a fresh and modern twist by our Leon Theatre department. Shows will be this Friday, March 22 at 7:00pm and Saturday, March 23 at 3:00 and 7:00pm.

"Tartuffe," a classic 17th-century French farce penned by the legendary playwright Molière, has been reimagined in an updated and VERY MODERN adaptation that promises to be as engaging and thought-provoking as it is entertaining. This *PG version speaks volumes to today's audience while preserving the play's original zest and satire.

This play resonates with contemporary issues and reflects a universal quest for clarity, safety, and kindness in an increasingly complex world. This production, beyond its humor, challenges us to reflect on our desires, the compromises we are willing to make for comfort, and the true essence of faith and morality beyond a facade of self-serving righteousness.

Tartuffe is full of characters who embody the modern dilemma of belief and self-interest. Through a narrative that weaves through the themes of self-deception, hypocrisy, and the quest for genuine goodness, our students bring to life a story that is as meaningful as it is entertaining.

*Before you reserve your seats, we wish to inform you that this performance includes suggestive dialogue, comedic situations of a mature nature, depictions of alcohol consumption, and strong language. We recommend audience discretion for a truly delightful viewing experience.

Don't miss this opportunity to support our talented students, who have poured their hearts and souls into bringing this complex and richly layered play to our stage. Let us come together to enjoy an evening of theater that not only entertains but also inspires reflection and conversation.
