Hello Hawks Rise Families, What a wonderful week we had here at Hawks Rise! Monday we had the Principal’s Book Chat, and we enjoyed discussing the book, If You Traveled on the Underground Railroad. We also enjoyed Famous Amos cookies, a brand created by Wallace Amos, a Tallahassee native, and we created a Freedom Quilt which will be displayed in the cafeteria. On Wednesday, we were decked out in red and pink with hearts everywhere for Valentine’s Day. Our students enjoyed special science experiments, writing activities, art lessons, and treats as we celebrated our day together. School Information * A change is coming! The auction will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, a DJ, dance floor, photo booth, drink specials, AWARD winning class baskets, and hundreds of items to bid on to benefit our school.
