Dear Parents.

It's beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas around the school and outside. There are many wonderful things happening at school this week.

First, we have the "Holiday Shop" taking place all week long in the media center. The shop is open from 9:00-2:30 each day and gives students the opportunity to bring in their money to purchase gifts for mom, dad, siblings, and other family members, friends, and teachers. The items in the shop start at 25 cents and go all the way up to $20. Last week a flyer with an envelope was sent home for you to send the money back in, where you could designate on the front who the money was for and how much to spend on each person. After making their purchase students will have their gifts wrapped and ready to put under the tree.

Next, we have the musical presentation of "The Nutcracker" presented by students from our Kindergarten - Second grade classes. This presentation will take place for parents on Thursday morning December 14 at 8:45 for parents in the cafeteria.

Finally, it is "Holiday Theme Week" below is the theme for each day of the week.  Your child is encouraged to dress like that for each day if they would like.
Let's have some Festive Fun this week as we head into the Winter Break that starts on December 20th. Remember that we do have school on Monday and Tuesday Dec. 18th and 19th.
