The Chili Cook-Off  kicks off Parent Night on November 14th at 6:00 pm!

Do you have the best chili EVER? Willing to put it up against others for a spirited Chili Cook-Off? Then join us for our annual Chili Cook-Off on November 14th at 6:00pm. This event will precede Parent Night and give guests a chance to vote on the which chili is the best! The winner receives bragging rights and a special gift! To taste and vote, just show up at 6:00 pm!

 

 

Parent Night begins at 6:30 pm following the Chili Cook Off

It's that time again! Parent Night is scheduled for November 14th and this is a chance for parents to get an update on everything that's happening on campus and hear from some of our school partners! Parent Night will be tabled, with a brief presentation from school administration about campus happenings and the remainder of the event is free-flowing where parents can visit tables that meet their individual interests! Special guests include: Tallahassee Community College, Lively Technical College, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, HCA Capital Medical Center, Disc Village, Bradley Reach from Apalachee Center, Palmer Munroe Teen Center, and a host of other community and civic organizations. CAP -n- Gown Picture Day (Seniors!); Picture Retakes (9th – 11th)

Seniors it’s the moment you have been waiting for… Cap -n- Gown Picture Day on Wednesday November 15th in the media center.

Grades 9th – 11th ~ Were your eyes closed? Hair not quite right? Were you like me and forgot about Picture Day? Here is your redo….Picture retakes will be following Seniors Cap -n- Gown pictures.

 

Progress Reports - November 15th 

Progress reports will be available online at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15th. If you wish to have a hard copy of your student's progress report, please send your request to the main office on Thursday, November 15th. If you have any questions regarding your student's grades, you may contact your student's teacher directly. If you are interested in scheduling a parent-teacher conference, contact our main office during office hours (7:30 am - 4:00 pm).

During this Thanksgiving season, we are reflecting on how grateful we are to have a school filled with wonderful families. Every day, we meet people who are living in very different circumstances. We are honored to help them meet their needs through the support of donors like you. This Thanksgiving season, we are hoping to raise $500 to provide Publix gift cards to help ten SAIL families have a nice Thanksgiving meal! Can you help? Senior News

Senior Fee is $80. Please see the attached Senior Fee letter for more information.

$200 is due toward Grad Bash on March 1st.

Grad Bash is April 20th. More information will be coming soon!

 

Tutoring Services

If you are interested in your child receiving additional academic support, tutoring is available on Mondays and Thursdays after school in the media center until 3:30 pm. Students can get help in all core classes (and some electives), work on group assignments, study independently, and utilize school technology.

If you have questions or concerns about your student's grades or progress in a specific class, your initial contact should be with your student's teacher. Teachers are always the most knowledgeable about classroom assignments and activities and are always happy to provide timely updates or clarification as needed. For the quickest response time, send an email.
