Best and Brightest Nominee Help Session

On Tuesday, November 28th at 9am in the media there will be a help session with our nominees for Best & Brightest. The World Class Schools Representative from the Chamber of Commerce will be here to review the application process, assist students with the application and answer any questions students may have. Students please review your application ahead of time and come armed with questions. Congratulations on your nomination!

PTSO Sponsors a Share Night at Suncheros!

Grab a bite to eat at Suncheros Fresh Mex on Wednesday, December 6th  from 6:00 – 9:30pm. Suncheros is located at 1817 Thomasville Rd #630, Tallahassee, FL 32303. Mention SAIL High School and 10% of their proceeds will be donated to SAIL PTSO. Mark your calendars!

 

Midterm Exam Schedule

Senior News

Senior Fee is $80.

Senior Meeting is January 25th

$200 is due toward Grad Bash on March 1st.

Grad Bash is April 20th. More information will be coming soon!

  • December 2nd – Saturday SAT (previously self-scheduled directly through College Board)
  • December 4th 8th ELA Progress Monitoring 2 (PM 2)
  • December 4th – ELA Reading Retake
  • December 5th – Algebra 1 EOC Retake
  • December 9th – Saturday ACT (previously self-scheduled directly through ACT)
  • February 10th – Saturday ACT (Self Registration Deadline 1/5; Late Registration Deadline 1/19)
  • February 20th -21st -  FSA ELA Reading /Writing/Alg. 1 Retakes

Tutoring Services

If you are interested in your child receiving additional academic support, tutoring is available on Mondays and Thursdays after school in the media center until 3:30 pm. Students can get help in all core classes (and some electives), work on group assignments, study independently, and utilize school technology.

  • December 18th – 2nd and 4th Period Mid-term Exams; 6th Period Study Hall
  • December 19th – 5th and 6th Period Mid-term Exams; Art Festival
  • December 20th – January 1st  Winter Holiday (No School)
  • January 4th -5th  Teacher Planning Day (No School for Students)
  • January 8th – Students and Staff Return (1st day of the 3rd Quarter)
  • January 15th – Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No School)

Reminder

If you have questions or concerns about your student's grades or progress in a specific class, your initial contact should be with your student's teacher. Teachers are always the most knowledgeable about classroom assignments and activities and are always happy to provide timely updates or clarification as needed. For the quickest response time, send an email.
