Best and Brightest Nominee Help Session

On Tuesday, November 28^th at 9am in the media there will be a help session with our nominees for Best & Brightest. The World Class Schools Representative from the Chamber of Commerce will be here to review the application process, assist students with the application and answer any questions students may have. Students please review your application ahead of time and come armed with questions. Congratulations on your nomination!

PTSO Sponsors a Share Night at Suncheros!

Grab a bite to eat at Suncheros Fresh Mex on Wednesday, December 6^th  from 6:00 – 9:30pm. Suncheros is located at 1817 Thomasville Rd #630, Tallahassee, FL 32303. Mention SAIL High School and 10% of their proceeds will be donated to SAIL PTSO. Mark your calendars!

Senior News

Senior Fee is $80.

Senior Meeting is January 25^th

$200 is due toward Grad Bash on March 1^st.

Grad Bash is April 20^th. More information will be coming soon!

Testing Updates

• December 2^nd – Saturday SAT (previously self-scheduled directly through College Board)
• December 4^th – 8^th ELA Progress Monitoring 2 (PM 2)
• December 4^th – ELA Reading Retake
• December 5^th – Algebra 1 EOC Retake
• December 9^th – Saturday ACT (previously self-scheduled directly through ACT)
• February 10^th – Saturday ACT (Self Registration Deadline 1/5; Late Registration Deadline 1/19)
• February 20^th -21^st -  FSA ELA Reading /Writing/Alg. 1 Retakes

Tutoring Services

If you are interested in your child receiving additional academic support, tutoring is available on Mondays and Thursdays after school in the media center until 3:30 pm. Students can get help in all core classes (and some electives), work on group assignments, study independently, and utilize school technology.

Reminder

If you have questions or concerns about your student's grades or progress in a specific class, your initial contact should be with your student's teacher. Teachers are always the most knowledgeable about classroom assignments and activities and are always happy to provide timely updates or clarification as needed.
