Parents: Those of you who pre-registered for the class, Remember it begins tonight OCT. 11th in the
Media Center at 6:00. If you forgot to register early there are still a few spaces left so you can still register by showing up tonight. Dinner will be served each week to the attendees who come.

Boys Town of North Floria will be offering a
Common Sense Parenting class FREE of charge at our school beginning October 11th through
November 15th from 6:00-7:30 each Wednesday in the Media Center. The class is a
6 week course
designed to give parents
Step-by-step strategies in building good family relationships, preventing and correcting misbehavior,
using consequences to improve behavior, teaching self-control, and staying calm.
The class also provides parents ways on how to approach discipline as positive teaching rather than punishment,
which many parents in the class last school year found actually did work better for them at home
over grounding or taking something away from the child.
Each attendee will receive materials which include a notebook and the Common Sense Parenting Book.
Dinner will also be provided for each attendee every week.
