Drama Club Play Auditions
Auditions for roles in "Puff, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic" will take place today from 2:05 - 3:30pm in the black box

Reading Symposium w/ Modified Bell Schedule
Our annual summer reading symposium will take place on Friday. The reading symposium will serve as students first major grade in their English class. Students will be meeting with reading groups to discuss their books and share their projects. We will be operating on a modified bell schedule for students to experience both the Reading Symposium and the Intensives Round Robin. First, 3rd and 5th period classes will meet prior to lunch. Students will return to 5th period following lunch to wait for the symposium to begin.

Intensives
Intensive packets were distributed to students today, 8/21. Intensive packets include descriptions of intensive experiences, timelines and associated costs. Students should review the packet with their families to select the experience that suites them best.

Intensive Round Robin
There will be two 10-minute information sessions for intensives known as the Round Robin. This will take place immediately following the Reading Symposium. Students will be able to meet the various sponsors and learn more about what each intensive has to offer.

SAIL Open House and Family Dinner (Flyer Coming Soon)
SAIL High School's Open House is Monday, September 18th at 6:00 pm. Parents will learn about some of the exciting plans we have for the upcoming school year, as well as briefly meet their students' teachers by following their child's bell schedule. This will give parents an opportunity to learn about the class curriculum, teacher expectations, and all SAIL has to offer. Prior to Open House, SAIL's PTSO will be hosting a SAIL Family Dinner at 5:15 pm for a nominal fee. More information will be coming soon on pricing and meal options.

  * NOTE: As parents' time will be brief in classrooms, opportunities for one-on-one conferences will be limited. We strongly encourage parents with individual questions about student grades or progress reach out to their student's teacher via email.
Annual Schoolwide Wakulla Springs Field Trip (Flyer and Permission Form Coming Soon)
It has been a long-standing tradition of taking a schoolwide trip to Wakulla Springs for students to experience firsthand the beauty of nature. Students will go on nature walks and have the option to swim. The trip is tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 22nd. We will be using Leon County Transportation, leaving the school at 9:30 and returning at 1:30. Pizza and drinks will be provided. There is NO cost for this trip, however, a signed and completed permission form must be submitted to the front office. If your student is not planning to attend the trip, we will have an on-campus activity for those that want to remain on campus.
