Good afternoon.

Due to a construction error in our area, Swift Creek phones and internet have been inactive since yesterday afternoon.  Since that time, the internet service provider has been working around the clock to restore services to Swift Creek and surrounding schools.  This has, however, caused a delay in communication with the school- both teachers and administration.  It appears, however, that these services were recently restored.

With the recent uncertainty with our internet service, our final Math state end of the year testing, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow (5/4), has been moved to Tuesday (5/9).  We feel that this will provide our students the best opportunity to perform in a normal testing environment with appropriate resources to complete the testing.  I apologize for the delay and hope our remaining testing schedule for 7th grade Civics and 8th grade Science can remain on schedule.

As a reminder, please make sure your student arrives to school on time, after a good night's rest and healthy breakfast, with a positive attitude to try their very best on the remaining assessments this year.  They have worked incredibly hard to prepare for these assessments and we want their scores to reflect their yearlong efforts.

Have a great night!
