IMPORTANT: Course Request Verification - Deadline May 25

All Course Request Forms have been entered into FOCUS. Please review your student's requests in FOCUS Parent Portal by May 25 to make sure his/her selections are correct; if you have any questions, please email Quashier ([log in to unmask]) or Dr. Browning ([log in to unmask]). In order to review your 2023-2024 Course Requests, please go to your FOCUS Parent Portal account, change the year to 2023-2024 and then click on Course Requests to see the courses you have requested. Please review the attached document, as it can assist with questions regarding courses listed or special codes that may be present on your student's schedule.

If your child is a continuing student (grades 9-11) and you do not see any requests, then your child did not submit a Course Request Form. If you are new to SAIL HS for the school year 2023-2024 and you do not see Course Requests listed, then we may not have your information; your Admissions Application may be in progress; or you may not be in our system just yet.

We would request that you give the Quashier or Dr. Browning a couple of days to reply to your email as we are extremely busy finalizing graduation requirements for our current seniors and making sure that we are assisting our current students make plans for academic recovery if needed.

IMPORTANT: Rising Seniors (Current Juniors) - Senior Portraits NOW AVAILABLE!
Did you know that the best time to take senior portraits is the summer before your senior year? Summer photo sessions allow students to select a date/time that works best for them, as well as offer opportunities for students to coordinate additional senior photos. We are requesting ALL rising seniors (current juniors) complete the following data form so that we can send reminders via email and text for students to book their portrait session. Students who do not take their photos in the summer will have to wait for the last chance day at school, which can be stressful. Aim for success by booking a session for the summer! To complete the data form, click here

IMPORTANT: Dual Enrollment Meeting Requests

In the last week, we have received an influx of parent requests to schedule an appointment with our school counselor regarding dual enrollment. If your child is eligible for dual enrollment and you attended Compass Night, you receive a folder with required documents for dual enrollment students to complete based on their plans (FAMU/TCC/Lively). In order to schedule an appointment with our school counselor, required documents must be submitted as instructed during Compass Night. These documents ensure your child is enrolled at the institution of choice (TCC/FAMU/Lively) and thus able to register for classes or request academic advising. To schedule an appointment, review the information below:

If your child plans to attend TCC (off-campus dual enrollment), to schedule an appointment, you need:

  • TCC Student ID (in-hand)
If your child plans to attend FAMU (on-campus dual enrollment with Marlow), to schedule an appointment, you need:
  • Completed FAMU Packet (provided during Compass Night)
  • Completed Health Form w/Physician's Stamp
If you have any additional questions about this process, contact Dr. Browning at [log in to unmask]
