This is the LAST Week of school!! The last day of school is on Wednesday, May 24th. We begin early release days this week…..Monday, May 22 thru Wednesday, May 24th - School will be dismissed at 12:20 pm on each day. Children will have lunch----bag lunches will be served and buses will run their normal routes (just earlier). THERE IS NO LUNCH BUNCH THIS WEEK!
Children enrolled in KLES EDEP will go there as normal after the bell rings.
EDEP will Close at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 24th!!!!
Report Cards will be available in the parent portal sometime on June 1.

5th Grade Shamrock Stroll

5th Grade Parents will be allowed on campus at approximately 12:10 pm –
once all the grade levels are in place

Students with Medication left in the clinic – parents are requested to pick up any leftover medication in the clinic within one week after the end of school. Medication left after this time will be discarded. NO medication is carried over to the next school year and ALL NEW forms have to be filled out each year. For those students that need asthma or allergy action plans, they were sent home last week so you may have them completed over the summer and return them at orientation or the first day of school.
All unclaimed Lost and Found will be donated to a worthy cause as of May 24th.
If you are cleaning out your children’s clothes this summer….the KLES clinic can always use boys or girls shorts or long pants – elastic waists ONLY (that way we fit multitude of sizes)
KLES EDEP (before and after school) PROGRAM 2023-24 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
New students to the EDEP program and incoming Kindergartners registration will take place at the August Orientation on August 8. If you register and pay fees on that day, you will be guaranteed a spot. However, if you do not register on that day, you will most likely be on a waiting list. They will have a table set up in the cafeteria for registration
Starting on Monday, June 5th, Leon County Schools goes to a 4 day work week through July 27th. The KLES office will be open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am until 4 pm and closed on Fridays. The office will also be closed the week of July 3rd thru 7th.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you will be moving this summer (within or outside of our school zone)….please remember you are required to submit 2 NEW proofs of residency to the county. You MUST contact the LCS Admissions Office at https://www.leonschools.net/enrollment
If withdrawing your student from Leon County Schools, please contact our registrar – Mrs. Payne at 850-921-1265 or [log in to unmask]
