Hello Hawks Rise Families,

 

What a wonderfully busy week we have had at Hawks Rise.  I have enjoyed seeing family members on campus during all of the grade level events and look forward to my first 5^th Grade Advancement Ceremony next Tuesday.

Next week is a short week, and school will dismiss at 12:20 each day.

 

• We have a huge number of coats, jackets, and water bottles in our lost and found.  If your child is missing any, please stop by and look through the lost and found.  You will need to have your license scanned to get a visitor’s badge and then check in the cafeteria lost and found section.  All items that are not claimed will be donated at the end of next week.
• Report cards will be posted on the portal on June 1.
• If your child has any medicine in the clinic, please be sure to stop by to pick it up.
• We hope that you will consider joining SAC (School Advisory Council) next year.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work with other parents and faculty members as we discuss problems and find innovative solutions.
• Students will not need to bring backpacks to school next week.
• We have finished testing for the year!  Our 5^th grade science scores will be ready during the summer, and we will send out a message once they have arrived.
• See the data below for our 3^rd -5^th grade FAST Progress Monitoring Assessments throughout the year.  We will celebrate the growth and use the data to plan instruction for next year.
