The Tallahassee Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (YLS) is seeking candidates for our "Adulting 101" essay-writing scholarship.

Last week, the Young Lawyers Section hosted a free virtual webinar where local professionals educated students on various "adulting" skills. The topics included money management, police interactions, family law facts, and pointers on professionalism. We would like to invite students who were not able to attend the webinar to view the Zoom recording. The recording is accessible here<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fwww.dropbox.com%2fs%2flj7frmfcn16we5x%2fvideo1092056772.mp4%3fdl%3d0&c=E,1,twBZ4cMXTHQ7CV9ryNnbKNkqZTzD97DmjwhYc_zKwgZwcTDCpzXD7VEAFne6ePxJ8zSfc_Q_dKPGX5Fgb2KvnJkfVQZJ6L8x4T7PmZ7HNQ,,&typo=1>. Students who view the webinar may submit an essay based on what they learned. The top two essays will win a scholarship. The first-place award is $500, and second-place award is $400.

Starting today, students who wish to enter the scholarship contest can do so by submitting their essay to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. The essay topic is:
