Mr. Douglas Cook

Principal

[cid:image003.jpg@01D96797.61892200]Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Leon County Schools’ Title I Office is administering the Parent and Family Engagement Survey for Spring 2023. The survey allows our school and our district’s Title I Office to understand the aspects of the parent/family and school relationship. The information gathered will be used to guide continual improvement within our school to better serve you and our students.

The survey administration period is Monday, April 10, 2023 through Friday, May 19, 2023.

The Parent and Family Engagement Survey is available online and by paper in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Swahili, and Arabic. Parents/guardians can select their language preference by clicking on the appropriate link or QR code.

Paper surveys may be used for parents/guardians who are unable to access a computer or device with internet connection. Please let us know if you need a hard copy of the survey.

Mrs. M. Barriner

Social Studies Department Chair
Over the last two weeks we have had an interactive exhibit titled Messages from Survivors from the Holocaust Education Resource Council set up in our cafeteria. This exhibit gave students a chance to read about the story of one family’s experience during the Holocaust and the exhibit even included videos with interviews from the survivors. All of our students enjoyed the exhibit and learned new things about the Holocaust. Within our classrooms, AP classes are gearing up for AP exams which start in 2 weeks!
