D ear Godby Parent,

This Saturday, April 22, 2023, 9:00 AM – 12 PM, marks our seventh and final voluntary Saturday School Day at Godby High School (GHS). As your child is currently enrolled in the online PLATO/Credit Recovery curriculum, and is a candidate for graduation in the 2022-23 academic year, all PLATO/ Credit Recovery coursework must be completed by April 28, 2023. If your child is currently enrolled in the online PLATO/Credit Recovery curriculum and/or has not earned their test scores for ELA or Algebra 1 – consider taking advantage of this awesome opportunity. To further assist our graduating Senior students, GHS initiated a “SAT Test Prep, Boot Camp” for April 17, 18, 19, 20, and 24. This tutorial Boot Camp occurs during school hours and will serve as a precursor to the on-campus SAT Test administration on Tuesday, April 25. The administration of the SAT on-campus on Tuesday, April 25, provides your student an additional opportunity to achieve their concordant scores for ELA and Algebra 1.

GHS underclassmen and non-PLATO students in grades 9-12 can also attend Saturday School Days to receive assistance in their current regular classes. During our voluntary Saturday School Daysteachers will be present to assist your child through one-on-one tutoring in specific subject areas.

The Saturday School Days play an important part in assisting your child with their Florida high school graduation requirement.  The administration and faculty look forward to seeing your child at all of our Saturday School Days.

Thank you for your support … Go Cougars!
