Parents,

On March 23rd, sophomores and juniors will be attending grade level assemblies to discuss school expectations and course selection for the 2023-2024 school year. Students will be selecting prioritizing their electives and exploring their eligibility (or interest) in dual enrollment courses at Lively Tech, FAMU, or TCC. This is an opportunity for students to ask questions about courses, availability, and pathway options. We strongly encourage all students to be present for this event because students will be selecting and submitting their course requests for next year. Students who are not in attendance will be at risk of being placed in courses by availability.

In addition to course request assemblies, our juniors and qualifying sophomores will be taking the PERT assessment to determine eligibility for dual enrollment. Though the PERT is not a pass/fail assessment, we encourage all students to take the assessment seriously, as it affects eligibility for scholarships and dual enrollment opportunities.

I have attached flyers with more information. If you have questions, feel free to contact us in the main office at 850-488-2468.

Respectfully,
