Spring Break is finally upon us! With students out of school next week, we will not have our usual Monday MIAB. However, we wanted to send out a few reminders and special announcements.

Friday, March 10 - End of 3rd NW Grading Period

If your student has any work to make up, this is the week to do it! All work and assignments are due TODAY. When students return from Spring Break, we will officially be in the 4th NW grading period. No late assignments or grade changes will be made after TODAY. Report cards go home on March 29.


Friday, March 10 - Shrek Junior the Musical

Our Shrek Intensive group has been working hard to bring our favorite ogre to life at SAIL! There will be two performances: Friday, March 10th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm. In partnership with Leon County Schools and CareerSource Capital Region, the program provides Leon County high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn hourly wages while building valuable workforce skills. The new policy, which went into effect on January 1, 2023, now provides high school students who attend charter, private and virtual school, along with public school, the opportunity to learn skilled trades while getting paid.

Summer School Dates/Offerings

Leon County Schools will once again be offering summer school for students that need to recover required graduation credits.  This will be for students that are missing credits and need to stay on track for graduation.  Transportation will be provided – More information to follow regarding start and end times.
