We only have a few days left in our third nine-week period. Please make sure that your child has turned in all assignments or make-up work by this Friday. There is also a large number of library books that are overdue or lost from the media center. Please check in your home, the car, and other family members' homes for your child's library book. If you find them, please send them back with your child or if they are lost or damaged Mrs. Dorband can give you the amount owed for the book. Remember that next week is SPRING BREAK and a Teacher Planning day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, March 21st.
Mrs. Grussing our Art teacher works very hard to make sure that we have many of our students in K-5th grade enter art pieces in the Youth Art Month exhibit at the Leroy Collins Public Library. We have 80 of our students who have art on display this month at the library. You can drop by anytime to view them, or you can attend the Artists' reception tomorrow (3/9) from 5:00-6:30 at the main library downtown. Please see the attached flyer.
This Friday, 3/10 there will be a SOCK HOP DANCE for the students. The cost to attend the dance is $1. There will be snacks for sale ranging in price from $1 to $2 such as Pizza, chips, candy, juice, and Gatorade. If you would like your student to attend, please send the money (suggested $5) to the school with them on Friday. Each grade level will have an assigned time during the day for them to attend.
