Reminder:  School choice deadline is March 1st.  All applications are submitted through your child’s parent portal account. 

 

 

  1. If your child is already at a school on school choice, you don’t need to apply again if your child is staying at the same school. 
  2. If your child is a current 5th grader at Canopy Oaks on school choice, they are not automatically school choiced to the feeder middle school (Raa Middle School).  If you are not zoned for Raa, you will need to apply for school choice.
  3. If you have a child at Canopy Oaks on school choice but now have a sibling entering school, you must apply for sibling support through the school choice application.  A sibling is not automatically able to enroll if an older sibling is at Canopy Oaks on School Choice.
  4. If you have a child at Canopy Oaks but moved out of the Canopy Oaks school zone during the year, you will need to apply for school choice if you would like your child to stay at Canopy Oaks.  Please know, only students entering 4th and 5th grade can be grandfathered in on the school choice application.
