Good afternoon, Wolves!

Last week was a great week at The Creek!

Last week Miguel Morales represented Swift Creek at the Florida All-State Band in Tampa. Miguel earned first chair in the group, meaning he was the top middle school Alto Saxophone in the state! Congratulations Miguel! Last Wednesday, our Math competition students participated in the AMC8 testing and our girls soccer team kicked off their season. On Thursday, our guitar students took a field trip to Lincoln for an International Guitar Workshop and the Sinta Saxophone Quartet performed on campus for our band students. Today is also our monthly Wolf Walk.

This week is another busy week as we participate in Celebrate Literacy Week. Please see the attachment regarding special activities and themes for the week. Our boys basketball team making their season debut this week, we continue girls soccer matches, have a Voctave Concert at FSU, All District Band performances, and an Electrify your Symphony Workshop at Lincoln. Don't forget to visit our school website for all the major events on campus and in our community for our students. The 1st payment window for the 7th grade field trip is this week. Please review the attachment for details.

Yearbook advertisements and yearbook presales are now available. Please see the two attachments from Ms. Mayfield, our Yearbook Sponsor, for more information.

It's hard to believe that we are already making plans for the 2023-2024 school year. The School Choice window is currently open for next year. I have included an attachment explaining that process. We have also started the process of inviting current 5th graders to participate in our Bridge shadowing days and parent information night at Swift Creek. We will continue to communicate enrollment, course registration, and program updates to you throughout the second semester.

Have a great week!
