Good afternoon, Wolves!

It was a short week at the Creek this week, with school and activities cancelled tomorrow due to Hurricane Nicole and no school on Friday in observance of Veteran’s Day.  We still had a number of events on and off campus this week.  Our 6th grade field trips to Challenger Learning Center concluded today, we held our first Pep Rally during our Super Howl Out, and boys soccer and girls basketball had multiple games.  Don’t forget to check our school calendar for all of the activities taking place with Swift Creek students.

This past weekend Swift Creek Band students auditioned for the Big Bend All District Honor Band. Our students were competing for spots with students from Leon, Wakulla, Madison, and surrounding counties, and the audition takes lots of individual preparation and diligent practice. Twelve students from Swift Creek were selected for the band!  Congratulations Max, Kaidy, Miguel, Eric, Kaylee, Abigail, Mikaela, Aiden, Mila, Pearce, Lewis, and Tejas!

Last week’s Wolf Walk was a success!  We appreciate Mamma P’s Ice Cream for stopping by and providing students and opportunity to cool down with a sweet treat.  Our next Wolf Walk is scheduled for December 8th.  Please see Mr. Zimmerman for more information.

We are in the middle of our Charleston Wrap fundraiser.  We have a number of students who have logged in and sent e-mails to family and friends about the event.  Please see the two attachments about incentives for students to participate and how to sign up.  Please remember to register, buy, and forward emails and texts by visiting www.registercw.com and use the organization id: 20730

In an effort to improve our schools, the Leon County School District is conducting a 2022 – 2023  Fall Parent/Guardian Climate Survey. We value your opinion and ask that you please take the time to complete this survey based upon your experiences at your child’s school. If you have children at multiple school sites (example – one child in elementary school and one child in high school), we respectfully ask that you complete one survey for each school. If your children attend Ft. Braden or Woodville K – 8 School you only need to complete one survey.

Please keep in mind that the 2022 -2023 Fall Parent/Guardian Climate Survey covers the time period of August 10, 2022 through the present.  In order to complete the survey, please go to the following Climate Survey landing page:

Once you access this page, please complete the Parent/Guardian Survey. Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous. Your honest opinion is appreciated and valued. The survey window will remain open until Friday, November 18, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Thank you for your time and attention to this important matter.
