Parents and Guardians,

I am sending well wishes your way as the weather is predicted to be rough tomorrow.  School will CANCELED TOMORROW, November 10.

This is my last ListServ email.  While writing emails does not rank at the top of the fun parts of my job, it is still bittersweet.  I have so loved being a part of the Hawks Rise community.  It has been an absolute joy to get to know this school family, to discuss books with your student, chat during lunch time, and receive smiles and hugs during car drop off.  There are fabulous teachers throughout this school and it has been an honor to watch the magic in their classrooms.  The families at Hawks Rise are the very best.  Thank you for so many wonderful years.

The Principal’s Book Chat for November is Anne of Green Gables This book chat is eligible for second through fifth grade students.  Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Van Hise will meet to discuss the book and have a fun activity and themed snack on November 30.
