Parents and Guardians,

Attached is an invitation to our first Parent Partner series event. Marguerite Overstreet, School Psychologist, will discuss anxiety and elementary-aged children.  She will explore what anxiety looks like, what are some common triggers, and how parents can respond to promote best mental health outcomes. This will be a part of the PTO meeting.  Please join us this Thursday at 7pm in the Media Center.

Don’t forget to wear orange tomorrow (10/19) to unite against bullying and promote inclusion.  October is anti-bullying month.  Our guidance team is hosting a “Be the I in Kind” campaign.  This campaign will include filling students buckets on grade level posters in the cafeteria.  Buckets are “filled” by noting kind acts with a post it notes on the poster.  Please discuss kindness with your student at home as well.
