How to Have a Successful Open House - Dos and Don'tsOpen house is TONIGHT!!!!  It will consist of three twenty five minute sessions: 6 pm, 6:30 pm, 7 pm.  Special Area will be present in their rooms 6:15 to 7 pm.  Parents should attend only one session for each student. We look forward to seeing you at open house. 

 

Enjoy the holiday weekend one more day with a night without cooking.  Mark your calendar for the first Share Day of the year! Visit Blaze Pizza in Village Square on Tuesday, 9/6/22 for lunch for dinner, and 20% of the proceeds with benefit HRES PTO! Please see attached flyer for more details. 

 

The first SAC meeting will be held on September 15 The purpose of a SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation of the results of the school improvement plan and to assist the Principal with the SAC budget. SAC representatives must include parents, teachers, administrators, business people, and other community members. If you are interested in joining SAC, please let me know by reaching out to [log in to unmask] The SAC meeting will be followed by a PTO meeting

Please label your child’s water bottle, backpack, jacket, and lunchbox.  You can get a new HRES water bottle from the swag site – if you do, please label it.

 

Also attached is an informational sheet regarding the Champions program.  Champions works with our PE classes.  The form will be coming home with your student.  Champions is an excellent program focused on improving student physical fitness.  As a component of the program, student data (including weight, height, and skill measures) are tracked to help determine the effectiveness of the program.   This data is kept confidential.  A signed consent must be submitted for Champions to take this data.
