Attached is another cultural immersion opportunity for our learners. Third grade is focusing on the Caribbean in Spanish class. 


What: Tallahassee Caribbean Carnival - Food, music, dance, and fun highlighting the culture of the Caribbean.
Where: 2810 Sharer Rd
When: Friday September 9th - Sunday September 11th

In order to receive the incentive for attending, students will need to complete and submit the following:
K-2 - Write two sentences about your experience
3-5 - Write a five-sentence paragraph about your experience
Optional - Snap a picture of you and your family at the carnival. Send to [log in to unmask] or upload to schoolwide REMIND.


September is a busy month of raising awareness for very important causes.  One of those is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.  Suicide Prevention Awareness Month is a time for connection.  Linking people to others in their community or to services can create connections that help prevent suicide.
