Hi Parents,
As you know there could be bad weather happening later this week in our area. Because we want everyone to be safe, we will be CANCELING the upcoming Family Literacy Night at the book fair for Thursday 9/29.
Please know that we are disappointed about having to do this, but we will be rescheduling this event at a later date so stay tuned.
Mrs. Dorband would like you to know that the book fair will still happen during the day at school (Tuesday- Monday Oct. 3rd), and she will be keeping the fair open late each day until 6:30 for parents wanting to stop by after work.
Remember that you can send in money with your child to shop during the day at the fair, or you can create an ewallet and use your debit or credit card to add money to the account for them to buy books with. Please note: Unused funds cannot be refunded to the credit card, but Ms. Dorband will work to ensure the students use their money wisely and all funds are completely spent. There will be 2 new books coming out soon that students can pre-order at the fair: Diary of a Wimpy Kid ($9.99 + tax) and Dog Man Cat Kid Series ($12.99 + tax). (see attached) If ordered the books will be delivered here to the school on the release date.

We appreciate your continued support at the book fair as it remains a big fundraiser for adding new books to our school library.

Thanks,

Beth Dorband
