Good morning, Wolves!
It has been a great week at the Creek welcoming our teachers and staff back to campus. They are working hard to prepare for another successful school year for our students and families. Please review the
updates below.
- This week, we have addressed almost 200 schedule change requests. Once again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we review the requests
and make modifications if course availability and class size allow. Our goal is to have schedules that meet student course requests. We cannot, unfortunately, honor specific class period and teacher requests at this time. We will continue to use
[log in to unmask] as our method for schedule changes through early next week. While schedule change requests were previously reviewed during orientation, we will not be able to meet requests
during orientation time this year.
- Orientation is Friday, 8/5, from 10:30 to 12:30. All students and families are encouraged to join us in the gym for a brief 10:30 introduction. Following
that, students will locate their first period class on boards located around campus and visit their first period class to receive their full schedule. Students and parents can then walk their schedule and meet their teachers. Our administrative team and
volunteers will help students navigate their schedule. Teachers will be at their door providing information about their class and help answer any questions you may have.
- PTO is looking for additional volunteers to help during orientation.
If you are available an hour or more from 10 am -1 pm this Friday, they would love your assistance. Please use the following link to sign-up:

- PTO has also re-opened their online apparel store. The store will remain open until 8/22. Please view the attachment for more information.
- Over the past several years, school meals have been free for all students in Leon County. The federal waivers that allowed for this have expired, and
students at Swift Creek will no longer be automatically eligible for free meals. Please see the attachment from Leon County’s Nutrition Services Department.
- Florida Blue is giving away 250 backpacks and other school supplies this Saturday to students in Leon County. Please see the attachment for more information.
Have a great day!
