We are celebrating in the Hawks Rise way with some super fun dress up days:
* Thursday, wear all black as we dive into deep space.
* And wear your pajamas on Friday as we sleep under the stars.
The FIRST annual Hawks Rise Spirit Sprint is launching February 18. Get ready for fun fundraising culminating with a run and all the excitement on February 25. More information is attached.
We are collecting many left behind water bottles and jackets. Please take the time to label your child's items with their first and last name. We will return items to your child's teacher if they are labeled with your child's name.
PTO Volunteer of the Month
Mindy is a Project / Program Manager for the state of Florida, specializing in large-scale IT Implementations. Mindy jokes that she's also a Project Manager at home too, coordinating all activities to keep the fabulous Fike family on schedule. Mindy shares that role with her husband [cid:17e8d65b1d5f4163a0d1] of 14 years, Tim, who also works in technology for Leon County. Mindy and Tim have two children: Anna Beth, 6, who is in Ms. Randall's Kindergarten class; and Grayson, 3, who attends preschool at Growing Room. The family is completed by the family's furry caretaker, Belle, an eleven year old black lab. The Fikes love summertime when they can spend the longer days outside, especially playing in the pool. The family loves all things Disney, the beach, and playdates with friends. Mindy also enjoys reading, board games, crafting, and coloring (yes, coloring!). The Fikes are so proud to be part of the Hawks Rise family and can't wait to see what's in store for many years to come!

[cid:image008.png@01D812E1.4D5B72D0]The Hawks Rise Silent Auction will be held on Friday Feb. 18th at the Northside Community Center. We have some wonderful auction items including another adorable puppy donated by North Florida Animal Hospital. There are some many great items this year and the class baskets are turning out amazing. Attire is 70's Disco theme, but do not feel like you have to dress up, however there will be a prize for the best dressed. Remember, this is an adult only event and tickets must be purchased to attend. Tickets will go on sale on January 31st. Don't worry if you can't make it to the auction, there is a non-attendance ticket option you can purchase as a donation to the school.
