Happy Saturday Hawks!

We had a great four day week of school this week! I apologize that I am a day late in our weekly update. Please forgive me.

I wanted to thank all of our families for their support this year. While academics are always important, the physical and mental health of our students and families are our top priority. Finding a balance between these areas can present challenges, but I am extremely thankful to our students, parents, faculty, and staff for their continued diligence in supporting these goals. We ask that all families continue to practice safe and healthy behaviors. Practice social distancing, mask wearing when appropriate, frequent hand washing, and keep your student home if they experience any symptoms of COVID (Headache, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, stomach distress, etc). If a student tests for COVID, they must remain home until the results are received. If any member of a student's household tests positive for COVID, that student must quarantine. Please continue to contact the office if you have any questions or need to report an exposure.

Progress reports will be posted to FOCUS on Wednesday, September 15th for grades 1-5. As in previous years, progress reports will only be available through parent portal. If you have any problems accessing your student's progress reports, please contact your teacher.

Thank you for your patience during our afternoon dismissal. We have supervision for pick up from 2:50 until 3:15. Please make sure you have your car tag posted as you enter the Hawks Rise parking lot. If you do not have a car tag, please contact your teacher, who will notify the front office.

There is no school this Thursday, September 16, for the district-wide Fall Holiday. School will resume on Friday, September 17th.
