Happy Weekend Parents, Guardians, and Staff!

 

I am so enjoying this weather and am seeing some amazing things happening in our classrooms.  This week I noticed:

• Lots of hand washing
• Student writing samples.  Our students are planning and creating some great writing pieces.
• Outside work on towels – it is just so pretty outside
• Painting.  And shaving cream alphabet practice. 
• Novel studies and read alouds!  Kids want to hear more.  Teachers are great at leaving them hanging.  😊
• Math with manipulatives and graphing.
• Small group instruction.
• Morning drop off smiles.

October 15 – Human Growth and Development Session for 4^th and 5^th grade students

October 18 – Teacher Planning Day – no school

October 21 and 22 – Individual School pictures

October 25-29 - Red Ribbon Week – more details coming…

October 27 – Report Cards

November 11 – Veterans Day holiday – no school

November 22-26 – Thanksgiving holidays – no school

December 20 – January 3 – Winter Holidays – no school
