Dear Star Families and Community,

 

It has been my privilege to serve as principal of Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts for the past three years. We have grown immensely, we have built relationships, and we have learned alongside each other as students, staff, parents, and community partners.

 

After much thought, personal reflection, and professional guidance, I have accepted the position of Principal at ACE, where I will be working with Adult Education. It is a great forward step in a career that is built on a love for learning and seeing people grow.  Saying goodbye is never easy; however, I have full confidence that the new principal, Tiffany Williams, and our assistant principal, Dr. Yvonne Jones, will continue our movements forward.

 

I am so grateful for the people and ideas you have entrusted in my care.  We have grown as a school community that has come together over the hardships of Covid, and we have celebrated many achievements.  Thank for your support throughout these past years – it is appreciated.
